My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Also I have a 704 and I have no job and I was wondering if me and him went into together and tried to get a vehicle from a used car place if that would work with my score and his paychecks?

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Yes very possible if you have atrade in or down payment. 704 is very good. 567 is not hopeless

Good luck

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

HBCS cards, particularly Orchard Bank

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

I%26#039;d say try together. Secured credit cards (where you set it up on a savings acct) help to build credit. the down side is that he%26#039;ll be paying astronomical interest rates to borrow his own money.

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Stick with your idea of getting an installment auto loan. Credit cards do very little to improve your score. The points you gain by paying on time every month are almost an even trade for the points you loose in debt to income ratio. The auto loan however, will add more points each month you pay on time. He also should look at the %26quot;problems%26quot;: on his credit report and make arrangements with as many as possible.

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

he would have to get a secured card. Basically you would put down a deposit of, let%26#039;s say, $500 bucks and that would be your limit. Oddly enough you would also pay interest on that money, even though it;s your own, and it would be just like a real credit card. It would essentially be a debit card that gets reported to the credit bureaus. as for both getting a car, probably not. even though you have a good score, you have no job, therefore no income. you could possibly work out something with the dealership as their desire is to make a buck so you might be able to strike it big and land that auto. It also depends on how much you husband makes at his job as well.

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Like other answers, start with Secured credit cards. That%26#039;s a good way to build up credit.

As for the vehicle, even though you have good credit but no job, and he is the opposite, they WILL use both your credit for the vehicle application.

They will give you financing (due to your credit score), but they will get you with a very bad interest rate (due to his credit score).

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Usually companies won%26#039;t do that unless you both are on the loan... your best bet would be to have him go to a like a buy here pay here kind of place... and have you be the cosigner.. that way he can work on rebuilding his credit.. you can use his pay checks.. and your credit score might get you a better deal... as far as credit cards... if he has that low of credit.. why would you want something that could potentially put you in a bad place.. his best bet.. would be a prepaid credit card until he gets finances (car loan) under control or whatever.. then look at something like www.totalcard.com or www.orchardbank.com they are really high interest rates... but that is what happens when you have bad credit... also... another one that might help is capital 1... they have lower limit cards for people with not so good credit.. hope this helps :)

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

your husband will be able to get a credit card and the two of you together will be able to get an auto loan

click on my pic to go to my profile there is a bad credit link there

you don%26#039;t have bad credit that is okay

there is a company that will have credit card companies for your husband

and lenders that will take into account your scores for a auto loan

My Husband has a 567 credit score what kind of credit cards can he get to rebuild his credit?

Aspire Visa, First Premier Bank.. also if he goes to his bank and ask for a secure credit card against his own money.. that helps... and yes, you can be his co-signer, that will help him also.

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

Don%26#039;t....they are the devil.

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID OF THEM. STAY AWAY. DON%26#039;T GET ONE

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

Get one with a cute cartoon on the front or a soothing beach or something.;)

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

If you are able to pay it off every month in full, then it will help your credit when you want to try to get a car loan or a house mortgage. You won%26#039;t be charged any interest that way either. If you don%26#039;t pay it off in full then you will have to pay interest. Go ahead, apply for a credit card. Get one where you collect points like Air Miles. I have gotten so many free groceries and gone to so many free movies from cashing in my Air Miles.

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

your probably to young to have one

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

be afraid, be very afraid. i fyou don%26#039;t know how to manage them they will get you into trouble. payday loans are worse.

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

Omg, Don%26#039;t Do it!!!!! You%26#039;ll be Sorry, Cuz its so Easy to Max it out in so little time!

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

What? No self control? Been there/Done That! It%26#039;s all about self control with a credit card! When I got mad-I had to shop. When I got bored-I had to shop. When I got invited to parties-I had to shop. I had 10 of them! Shopped until I dropped! The bills came - I dropped on the floor and cried like a baby - I had to get me something to drink and I%26#039;m not talking about Kool-Aid - It was SERIOUS! But I consolidated the debt, paid all of it off, cut them up except for the MasterCard and Visa and stuck them down in the garbage disposal! I WAS DONE! So you just make sure you get one! One to start! You%26#039;ll be able to tell when you start losing control. Your hand will start shaking while you%26#039;re reaching for your wallet. But in my case that could have been the alcohol I was drinking. Anyway, watch the interest rates and I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do!

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

It%26#039;s good to be afraid of a credit card. It can be an asset, if

you use it ONLY when necessary. They are so easy to use, they

can cause you major debt problems if you are not cautious. A good rule is, don%26#039;t charge anything you can%26#039;t pay off in 2 months.

The interest rate they charge you is extremely high. See if you can get a card with set limits ($500-$1,000), that way you won%26#039;t

go so deeply in debt that you will never get out.

I%26#039;m afraid of credit cards?

you should be

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

NO, and don%26#039;t cancel them. Put them away use them on a rotational basis( once every six month for minor purchase you can pay in full when the bill arrives. That will keep the acct active. Your FICA is calculated by the credit limit of all cards and outstanding balances.

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

WHOA!!! No one should have credit cards to begin with. I urge you to find a local radio station that airs the Dave Ramsey show and start listening. You can also visit his website at www.daveramsey.com. CUT THOSE CARDS UP! Report It

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

Please do and inform the card company.

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

Yes and close the accounts with the credit card companies as well

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

The truth is before you go cutting up your cards you should go back and review the %26quot;terms%26quot;. Perhaps one of the cards you are not using has better terms than one you are using and you could transfer your balance at a better rate. Credit is a tool. Evaluate the required payment % as well. Also evaluate the number of days before your first bill is due. The is called your %26quot;grace%26quot; period.

Time is money whether you are saving or spending.

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

cutting up the cards does nothing you must cancel the accounts

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

Yes, do destroy them in some manner so they could not be used.

If your card balance is down to Zero, and you are not using them, you should also cancell the cards.

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

Yes, and close the accounts. Unless, this will mean you have no cards at all. If that is the case keep at least one or two and use them rarely, and as soon as you get the bill pay it off. This will help keep your credit scores up, if your scores aren%26#039;t good it will help you build them back up.

Have a GREAT day!

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

If the accounts are closed, or if you NEVER have intention of using them again, by all means cut them up.

But if you still have the credit open, for the sake of your credit score, you should never voluntarily close an account. You see, your credit score is based on a series of murky factors, most of which the reporting companies are doing their best to keep from us. However, the one thing we do know is that the amount of AVAILABLE credit vs. how much you are actually using is a big factor. The more you have available and the less you have used (high limits, low balances) the better off you are.

If these are fairly innocuous cards, I would keep them open. Use them once a year and immediately pay off the balance. That will keep them actively reporting and help your score.

Should i cut up credit cards that i am no longer using?

Although you might cut up the cards, it might be best NOT to cancel the accounts. Your credit report looks at total amount of credit available vs used, as well as the length of time that you have had accounts.

If you cancel them, you will reduce your amount of available credit on the report and also lose any time history that you have - resulting in a WORSE credit score - believe it or not

If you want to destroy your credit scores, if you want much HIGHER RATES on auto loans, if you want to potentially destroy your chance for ANY home loan, then by all means cancel your credit cards.

Credit cards are a very important part of credit. How you use them, how you abuse them, how you pay them or don%26#039;t pay them or pay them late will affect your credit scores by HUNDREDS of points one way or another.

However if you abuse credit, if you cannot control your spending, then credit cards are like crack cocaine to you, and you should keep them open, but dramatically lower your credit limits--which WILL hurt your scores, but not nearly as much as closing the accounts.

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with li

balance? but what about those with annual fees? i keep them actve dont use them but pay that fee?

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with little to no

That only matters if you plan to continue to play with snakes.

Tell the banks to EFF OFF and quit putting yourself into slavery to the Great FICO!

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with little to no

Having too much open credit also hurts your score. Quit worrying about you FICO score and just use your own judgement. Pay off cards EVERY month and only use them in an emergency.

Pay CASH!

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with little to no

you should find a card with no fee and then call your current credit card company and ask them to waive the annual fee. then charge a small amount each year and pay it off in full. Never cancel your card unless you are in serious financial debt and cannot control your spending

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with little to no

your credit score should still be going up if you pay on time in my opinion i would cancel all cards not needed and up grade the best one .

I heard that canceling credit cards negatively affect your credt score better to keep active with little to no

Yes, that is exactly what you do if you have no other balance on the card. FYI, some companies will automatically close the account after inactivity for 30-90 days. I would suggest like maybe making a $1-$5 charge every so often at least just to keep the account and history to help increse / maintain your fico score.

Can you use debit/credit cards at Disney World? like at the gift shops?

Yes, Disney takes just about any form of money there is ;-)

It is no problem to use your credit card, almost every places accepts them. Just be sure to ask before hand so you don%26#039;t get everything or order everything and then not be able to pay.

As the other answer said, you can always make your room key at Disney your charge card. When you check in you give them the card, they link it to your room key (if you have children or anyone that you don%26#039;t want to have charging abilities they can take care of that as well) and then you don%26#039;t have to worry, just give your room key anywhere at Disney and everything is charged right back to your card.

Have a great time!

Whats the problem with credit cards with fixed rate?

depends on the rate

Whats the problem with credit cards with fixed rate?

I%26#039;d rather have a fixed rate than a variable one. Seems like variable ones go up, but never down.

Whats the problem with credit cards with fixed rate?

why do you need credit..?? cant you live in your means..?? save your money and be debt free...

If you have 5 credit cards at 75% or higher, will paying 1 off make more of impact than paying 3 to

Reducing all 5 to below 30% is best. The credit utilization rate is estimated to affect your credit on individual items as well as across the board as an average. Fair Isaac reports that you should keep all account balances below 30% of their credit limits to improve your credit score.

If you have 5 credit cards at 75% or higher, will paying 1 off make more of impact than paying 3 to 40%?

paying 3 cc to 40% will be more beneficial for your credit score.
