Most of them have not had a payment made since 2004-2005 I was real sick and not working and not able to make payments now they are all with collection agencies and some attorney%26#039;s. Should I pay them off or make settlements I live in mass?

You need to get some credit counseling, try the following: www.nfcc.org. they can but you in touch with non-profit credit counselors.

You need to establish that the debt are do, that the people calling have the right to collect the debt, and if you will get credit for the payments if you send them. I hope you are feeling better and you life is getting better.

You can also stop the harassing phone calls. They collector MUST BY LAW, give you a copy of the debt in writing, and you have a right to have all contact be in writing.

Go to creditinfocenter.com. Chances are depending on what state you live in, the Statute of Limitations on the collection of a dept may be close to expiring. However, I beleive Mass. may be six years from last payment. Try the site. It will help.
