If they have a prepaid Business Reply mailer, simply put a note inside that says %26quot;please take me off your list%26quot;, and tape the mailer to a brick before you send it back.

Oh, this may not work for you, but what I found very effective is sending them an invoice for $100 for %26quot;reading unsolicited advertisement%26quot; on my firm letterhead. I don%26#039;t get many repeats after sending that.

You can%26#039;t. They get your name off lists that they buy from places where you have credit cards, where you put name %26amp; address in an online sweepstakes, auto dealerships, State Bureaus etc.

All you can do is tear them in half and throw them away. If you don%26#039;t tear them up first, someone can fill them out and just have them send it to a different address and voila!, they have a credit card in YOUR name!!

I hate that too. All the paper they waste sending them out regularly. Some places send them out monthly. There isnt really anyway to stop it. What I did for awhile was just take the self addressed envelope seal it, and mail it back empty. Then they have to pay the postage for nothing.
